This is fingering weight base. This base has 85% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester Wool and 15% Nylon, but is a 2 ply with a very high twist, making it extra durable but very soft. It is great for socks and shawls and sweaters! It has 400 m per 100g skein.
The set consists of 1full skein of the Doe colour and a 25gm.skein of the Fawn colour for contrast on heels and toes if desired.
Handwash only and lay flat to dry; although it is superwash BFL we really wouldn’t recommend machine washing it.
We recommend that you wash dark colours separately or wash a swatch before using dark and light colours together.
As with all hand dyed yarns, we would recommend that you use two skeins at a time, alternating from each one every couple of rows/rounds (unless it's a one-skein project).
