Life can be crazy busy and stressful, right? I've been there - a lot.

I almost always regain my calm centre when I pick up my knitting and let the world fade away while the soothing textures of the yarns slide through my fingers and around the needles until a beautiful pattern and fabric emerge.

Even just petting the skeins can be soothing, like stroking a favourite pet.
