Merino Sock: a lovely blend of 80% Superwash merino wool and 20% nylon. One of the best bases for socks, scarves, shawls and all fingering-weight products.
Each 115gm skein has 390m. or 4oz.with 423 yards. Superfine (no.1) with 3/9NM Needles: 1.75-2.75 or US 00-2, 32-36 stitches per 10cm.
Handwash only and lay flat to dry; although it is superwash merino we really wouldn’t recommend machine washing it.
We recommend that you wash dark colours separately or wash a swatch before using dark and light colours together.
As with all hand dyed yarns, we would recommend that you use two skeins at a time, alternating from each one every couple of rows/rounds (unless it's a one-skein project).
